Susan Davenport-Elsayed
Violinist 

Susan Davenport Elsayed is a classically trained violinist and music teacher.  She presently holds positions with professional groups such as Jersey Shore Pops (concertmistress) and the country/pop/rock trio Blondage Rocks.

 

Susan studied at the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts with Philadelphia Orchestra greats Joseph Lanza and Robert DePasquale, earning herself a Bachelor’s Degree in Performance with a major in violin.  She has been the concertmistress of the Ocean City Pops and a member of the Bay Atlantic Symphony Orchestra.  Her abilities have afforded her the privilege of performing in concert with Josh Groban, Debbie Reynolds, Andrea Bocelli, Frank Sinatra, Paul Anka, Loretta Lynn, Tony Bennett and Michael Bolton among others. 

 

Susan is capable of adjusting her violin playing style and approach to fit any musical situation, from bluegrass and country fiddle-playing to studio-style string-section leading to the necessary classical approach of the symphonic orchestra.  Her ability to improvise and play by ear also has made her popular with jazz and rock artists.  Her obvious passion for playing allows her to easily connect with any audience.  

Susan Salmon
Guitarist /Mandolinist 

With four decades of experience in the music industry, multi-instrumentalist Susan Salmon brings a wealth of experience, training, passion, and commitment to each performance.

 

A skilled mandolinist and guitarist,  Susan has performed in nightclubs, casinos, concert halls and at weddings throughout the east coast and Las Vegas. A highlight of her career was her 18-year residence at Resorts International in Atlantic City, performing as a strolling mandolinist with renowned classical guitarist  Michael Kraft.

 

Susan currently performs in Blondage Rocks a country pop trio in which she plays guitar and mandolin. She can also be seen playing lead and rhythm guitar with the New Jersey-based Heart tribute band, Kick It Out.
